Certification to Licensure (Anticipated July 1, 2013) - Watch the

Lapsed Certificate Law Now Finalized: All certificates not renewed or registered shall lapse after a period of 6 months from the expiration of the last year of registration. Should your certificate/s lapse, to reinstate your certificate/s you must pay any and all back fees, AND do one of the following: 1) pay a $500 penalty OR 2) "complete 9 semester hours of coursework from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the content area that most aligns with the educator's endorsement area or areas".
